To celebrate all things queer and APIDA, we will be hosting a talent show and a drag show with performances by drag queens, drag kings, singers, and much more! Due to COVID-19, we are celebrating online and we will be livestreaming on Twitch at https://www.twitch.tv/qapida_dc.

     The Washington, DC Chapter of the National Asian Pacific American Women’s Forum (NAPAWF) is dedicated to building
      a community of progressive AAPI women leaders in the DC metro area through education, advocacy, and a robust support network.

      NAPAWF DC strives to create a community for APIA women, nonbinary, trans, intersex, and gender-nonconforming folks working to
      educate and advocate for social and economic justice, emphasizing a local angle on national issues.

     Asian and Pacific Islander Queers United for Action (AQUA D.C.) is a volunteer-based organization that promotes the positive
     identity and general welfare of the gay, bisexual, transgender, and other queer members of the Asian and Pacific Islander (API)     
     communities in the Washington, DC metropolitan area, through advocacy, coalition building, education, networking, outreach, and
     support. To achieve this overall vision, AQUA works closely with other API queer organizations in the DC metropolitan area.

         The Capital Pride Alliance, located in Washington, DC, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving the needs of the LGBTQ+ 
         community and its partners through educational events, entertainment, community outreach, and celebrations of diversity. Capital Pride
         produces each year Trans Pride and the Pride Celebration in the nation's capital, one of the largest Pride events in the country, plus a
         variety of other educational and community events throughout the year.

 

 

     Korean Queer and Transgender Organization (KQT DC) is composed of LGBTQ individuals and parents of Korean descent and
     allies in the Washington, DC area, committed to promote a welcoming space for fellowship and support, and advocating for LGBTQ rights
     in our communities. 

 

 

 

           KhushDC is a social, support and political group that provides a safe and supportive environment, promotes awareness and acceptance,
           and fosters positive cultural and sexual identity for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning (LGBTQ) and additional gender or
           sexual minority South Asians in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.

           We represent a broad array of nationalities including those of Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Iran, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan,
           and Sri Lanka.

 


                                                 Asian Pacific Islander Queer Society (APIQS) is a supportive community focusing on educational, social, and cultural activities
                                                   created for and by queer female-identified, gender-noncomforming, and transgender people of Asian and/or Pacific Islander descent in
                                                   the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.
